Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork rib
  • 1 Potato
  • 1 Ginger
  • 4 garlic
  • 3 anise
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 pepper
  • cooking wine
  • thick soy sauce
  • thin soy sauce
  • salt
  • crystal sugar
  • 2 shallot

Instructions

  • prepare all the ingredients, cut the ginger into slices,cut the garlic in half, wash the potatoes and sweet pepper and cut into pieces
  • put the water in the pot, wash the ribs and put them into the pot, boil out the bleeding water and remove the blood foam
  • If you want the potatoes become more fragrant, you can use oil to fry potatoes beforehand, if you feel cumbersome, you can skip this step.
  • put the oil into the pot, then put the ginger, anise, cinnamon, stir-fry... you can smell fragrance for a while.
  • put in the ribs and stir-fry until the ribs turns brown.
  • Add cooking wine and continue to stir-fry
  • Add the thick soy sauce and stir well (note: the color of the thick soy sauce if very deep, cant put to much, otherwise the ribs are too dark )
  • Add a little bit of crystal sugar and stir-fry(the crystal sugar can not too much)
  • add the thin soy sauce , garlic and stir-fry evenly
  • add water into the pot and boil the water.

  • After boiling, turn to low heat, cover and cook for about 40 minutes
  • Add the potatoes in the last 5 minutes, then cook until potatoes become soft and cooked(if the potatoes cut into large pieces, it will take a few minutes to cook)
  • Come and eat~~~
